Recap/Intro

Welcome to Evronar. In the twilight months of 2499 After Fracture, nearly 2500 years after The Virtuous fought The Vile over the fate of the world, We start our story, as most do, in a Tavern. on the edges of Vornaud, one of the great city states of the continent of Turogarde, is an establishment called 'The Lucky Dip'. and that, is where we find all of you.

Five Individuals, some known to each other, others a stranger, have gathered here for a job by one Rakin man called 'DeeDee', with details on a job that should prove lucrative, and the promise of information for those with something to seek.

(Roll a D6, but the result is meaningless)

By a small fireplace near the table sits 2 of the individuals. definitely the most imposing and largest of the group, these two women sit and take in the rest of the group

Daisy, as you sit here waiting for DeeDee to show up, your mind wanders back to 3 days ago...

(small flashback sequence of DeeDee promising the info about the man she's seeking if she does this job)

(Roll a D6 again)

We turn our attention to another 2 figures in the room, 2 that are... far more out of place for an Adventurer's Tavern such as this. a shorter man with an umbrella despite a lack of clouds in the sky, and a... Businessman?

(Ask Joel and Lachlan to describe their characters)

As you two sit here and take in the rest of the group, Gilbert, you start to think of the encounter you had in this very tavern 2 days ago...

(Small flashback sequence of Gilbert and DeeDee getting into a conversation and getting the job.)

And now we turn our attention to the last figure in the room, one that makes the peculiar sights of some of the others in this group seem pedestrian. for if anyone looked over to the group at the table, they would swear that they were looking at... an upright crocodile?

(Ask Mariah to describe her character)

Grub, as you wait for DeeDee to show up, you think back to the conversation you had with him yesterday that led you to this table...

(brief flashback sequence of DeeDee offering her the job).

Summary

DeeDee gave them the job to locate a pre-fracture artifact in Echo Hall, 3 days to the Southwest. Gilbert deduced with a nat 20 insight that this is clearly a job that is a big deal in the information community.

they went on their way and interacted with each other during the journey. Along the way, they were approached by a small bandit group trying to rob them. unfortunately for them, they didn't know that the cart was actually a warforged and compressed one of them. Norman also experienced his first bit of magic with the Briefcase. he also experienced a small wild magic surge (rolled 77. next corpse he touches he casts speak with dead on it). Gilbert got special goggles that allow him to see, and Lagaruk found a "Cool Tankard" (Gilbert Identified it as a Tankard of Sobriety, but decided not to tell Lagaruk).

They continued their journey into Echo Hall. after dealing with some Gray Ooze that seeped out of the armors. they found a small prayer room containing the Ekovon Oath, which allowed them to proceed deeper into Echo Hall, however, not before Gilbert had entered the nearby armory and disabled some animated armor and found some extra treasure.

They proceeded deeper into the Hall, avoiding a trap by remembering the etched writing and keeping the Oath close to them, before entering a large room containing the artifact, aswell as the guardian of the artifact and the dispatched members of a previous adventuring party who attempted to get it. After a long battle, through the clever work of the whole party, especially Grub's Flaming Sphere and the Unbridled Fury of Lagaruk, they dispatched the guardians of this artifact and are poised to retrieve that which they were hired to do.
