Ran: May 2nd

Recap/Intro

Last we left off, our Adventurers continued to explore the sewers of Vornaud in hopes to locate the Coincounter Knights. they resumed their exploration only to shortly be waylaid by a group of Were-rats who seemed to be versed in the arts of some kung-fu. after some attempts at placating the Kung-fu Rats, which only served to make them more angry, they were able to dispatch the Rats.

Exploring further into the sewers for a spot to recuperate after the battle, Daisy picked up the sense of multiple undead creatures roaming around in the sewers, strange though that may be, they continued to look for the Coincounter Knights before encountering a strange creature who ate trash. after negotiating with the creature by giving it some more food, and naming it Douglas, they continued on and found what seemed to be the entrance to some sort of hideout.

After some tense conversation, they were able to gain the trust of the Coincounter Knights and they allowed them access to their hideout. they were then shown the kidnapped Norman B, and ascertained that he was under some kind of powerful curse that prevented him from speaking about what he was doing. for a bit of Schadenfreude, Daisy and Lagaruk humiliated the man and psychologically deconstructed him for the benefit of Norman G.

After that display, they left Norman B in his cell and talked to Morgrun, the leader of the knights, who confirmed that they were planning a raid on the Darkonis estate to see if they can locate whatever cursed item is keeping this curse in place. and that, is where we last left off. what would you all like to do?

Summary

conversed with Bruna and Reticence and then went topside to do some shopping, bought some armor and stuff from Maklor, went back down to give Reticence splint mail to turn stealthy. did some reconnaisance around the Darkonis Estate and noticed Hush and Berry doing the same. on the way back, noticed a shifty individual carrying barrels of firebrand wine. Grub followed as a rat and they eventually found them loading a small paper storage area with barrels of firebrand wine. Grub listened in and overheard them saying that these were the last two here, and that Djika wants them to start loading a new spot in the Commons, and that things were almost ruined by Wrecker's Crew getting discovered.

Norman warned Maklor that he was in danger and offered his apartment as safety, and they made their way back to the Coincounters. they talked to Morgrun and relayed the info. Daisy showed the letter to Morgrun and he said that Hush has seen the symbol before when someone was kidnapped awhile ago.

They made their way to the mess hall and spoke with Cyrano while waiting for Hush to return. after learning that he was the previous owner of The Reverent Grove, Daisy asked about Zephyr, and Cyrano confirmed that about 5 years ago an elven man came in and placed an order for lumber, and placed it under the name of Zephyr.

at this time, Hush came in and also sat down for some food. Norman and Daisy conversed with him and confirmed that he saw a short old man wearing a cape of the symbol get grabbed by an elven man and a warforged similar to Daisy. Hush has been unable to locate them since.

they made their way back to Gilbert's workshop to longrest, and just finished breakfast (French Toast) before planning what to do next before the raid tonight.
